Details

The Aussie Summer Feelings Deck is designed for parents and families in Australia and New Zealand to assist children in managing their emotions during the bustling summer season. With school holidays, family gatherings, and festive activities, kids may feel overwhelmed by changes in routine and social interactions.

This deck includes 28 beautifully illustrated double-sided A5 cards featuring vibrant summer scenes unique to Australia and New Zealand, such as beach cricket, BBQs, and pohutukawa flowers. Each card includes an emotion label in English, with a Norwegian translation in italics underneath, helping children articulate their feelings in a relatable way.

Additionally, the pack contains 6 bonus “Summer Jul” cards that depict December scenarios like beach celebrations and end-of-year parties. Parents will also benefit from a 2-page guide with 5 conversation starters to help discuss emotions with their children during this festive time. As a bonus, there’s a “My December Feelings Tracker” worksheet to encourage kids to reflect on their emotional experiences throughout the month.
